Rex McGregor has won the 2023 Playwrights Association of New Zealand 5-Minute Play Competition with Tui and the Immortal.

 

Marilyn Ollett was placed second with No Present Like the Time.

 

The adjudicator Sameena Zehra commended three scripts:

Better Say a Prayer for Me - Tim Hambleton

Goblin Mother - Helen Vivienne Fletcher

Poverty - Angie Farrow
